@hizang: ohhhh... well I already answered but I was really wondering what kind of monster was subjecting themselves to butter on their hands while eating their sandwich.
When I'm thirsty thirsty I absolutely down water with no regard. I just lose it. I can't say the same for when I'm hungry. Even when real hungry, I don't get satisfaction from stuffing myself and if I eat too fast I feel like shit. So drinking when thirsty.
I almost made it all the way through, and even when the song at the end started playing I was okay for a second or two... but then I saw Vinny get a look like he was tearing up and I instantly started crying. I'm an empathetic person so even just thinking about Vinny tearing up there at the end is making me tear up right now.
Loved listening to Mary articulate her thoughts on games, design and all that. She also seems like a great Real-in-Dan personality, like Austin. Can't wait for the next episode. Good dumb popcorn fun.
Business Wars is a podcast that did a series on the history of the big game studios. It's more of a history of with details from various sources so not necessarily a doc since it's missing direct interviews for accounts. But it very much includes accounts from those sources, just indirectly. Check it out. Great podcast in general, too.
Although my TV is 4k, I still much prefer to play 1080 at 120hz vs 4k 30-60hz, as I'm still only sporting a 980 in my PC and a 2070 super in my Laptop which I haven't really tested too much yet.
@bigsocrates: Thank you. This is the exact type of response I was looking for. Seems Loop Hero is exactly what I thought it'd be from what I've heard so far about it.
Here's to hoping the game's success will spawn some offshoots of the idea into something more theorycraft or rogue centric. At least that's what I'm hoping.
How does this game do in variability and viability of "builds" within the different classes? Is there an apparent optimal strat or just playing whatever is given to you, or can you go with many different approaches with each class?
