AEW lookin' good. big Show is a bit small, and some of the animation isn't so great, but it looks like it'll be pretty fun. Not a fan of the return of the Smackdown era evasive roll move though, should've put in attacks or something if you're close to your opponent while getting up...the rolling has never looked natural.
'SATURDAY NIGHT SLAM MASTERS', one of the greatest wrestling games ever conceived has just dropped on consoles for the first time since the 16bit era, now in all of its arcade glory for only $4 after a free download of 'Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium'... https://store.playstation.com/en-us/product/UP0102-CUSA30639_00-CAS2DLC000000009
Retromania's first big update is live, three arenas, Chris Bey, tons of additions and improvements, more stuff coming including an eventual big announcement of more legends. Really hope they were able to sign Hacksaw...but yeah...here's the trailer...
Managed to pick up the game for PS4 for like $20 over the holidays, the dlc didn't seem to be worth it as they don't offer any new locations, so I just got that and the free access to the other games maps if you owned them. Nice having all of the content in one place with a considerably smaller file size and a platinum trophy finally added to the mix...but I really feel as though the graphics took a noticeable step back coming off the second game with the options offered...at least from the previous missions I played. Can't wait to find time to dive in.
When life gives you lemons of a lousy storyline and incredibly boring mission design, you make lemonade out of what ya can. Watch Dogs: Legion has become my celebrity lookalike finder game and current addiction. Too bad there's no option to copy and rename characters allowing you to fully customize their abilities and what weapons they carry. Solid foundation, just...like the last one, doesn't really know how to build on it in a compelling manner.
The Good: Nearly everything outside the Matrix. New Morpheus. Jessica Henwick.
The Bad: Nearly everything inside...especially Neil Patrick Harris.
The Ugly: The movie lacks the unique visuals of the originals, the super stylized slow-mo might've been downplayed because of Zack Snyder abusing it recently...but it's sorely missed.
Just really poorly shot in comparison, bullet time looks awful, like worse than CW Flash bad. No iconic moments outside of maybe one bit in the climatic action scene.
Lily Wachowski had no involvement on this one, which makes me wonder if she is the sibling with the most talent.
Oh, and it ends with a Rage cover by Brass Against The Machine...and well, I wouldn't advise Googling them...unless you're into kinky shit.
SPOILER!!!
There's a game developer dude that looks like Jeff!
Oh wow...watching Matrix Resurrection on HBOmax and fifteen minutes in there's a guy...that...well...you'll know exactly what I'm getting at when you see him.
EDIT: Worst of the series.

That moment when you assume you're nearing the end of Last of Us 2, when you realize you're only half way through.
Dang.
Rocket League Season 5 just dropped, futuristic space themed, lots of great Rocket Pass unlocks, I'd say it's the best so far...though the car that came with Season 2 (which escapes me at the moment) is better than the Nexus which debuted today.
