I get what you mean. I'm OK with strategy, but it tends to bore me. Micromanagement takes a lot of energy, although it's easy to get the hang of.

Tactics, on the other hand, I love. Thinking on your feat is way better, in my opinion. There's so much more skill involved.

Final Fantasy Tactics is a Turn-Based Strategy game, while Warcraft is a Real Time Strategy game.  They both use tactics, and you need to strategize with them both.  The ony thing that seperates the "Strategy" genre is if the game is real time or turn based, and then after that, if they're RPGs or not.."
Wrong. It's like saying a magazine and a clip are the same; they aren't. And tactics/strategy are entirely different.
"
then why isn't there a "tactics' genre on this site, gamespot or ANY site ever made like this? because it's not a genre!

Oh yeah, I forgot that. At any rate, though, Windwaker isn't the first game that comes to mind when we look at the Zelda series as a whole."
no of course, but just about every "special" function in BG&E can be found in Windwaker.. Windwaker is the easiest example.. it's a little eeire..

another one is Namco.  Soul Calibur 2 was not only the best selling Soul Calibur game, but it sold the best by a large margin on the Gamecube, when Soul Calibur III was PS2 only, it kinda flopped... another one is Tales of Symphonia which happens to be the best selling Tales of game to date with over a million sold.  They desided to slap the next two Tales of games on the PS2 only, Legendia flopped hard and Abyss barely scrapped past 250,000 sales..

and don't forget Rare's flop record since leaving the Nintendo fold..
