    Played by Billy Dee Williams, the Director is the face of GDI. Director Redmond Boyle is not directly involved in battles and does not have the military knowledge of a General, but likes to involve himself anyway. He is a charismatic character and one that will never admit defeat to anybody. He doesn't always have the best motives, but does have good intentions.
