I'm a fan of some deep fried foods (onion rings, French fries, chicken, etc.) but some of these concoctions don't sound appealing at all.

I also feel a need to point out that Jeff has been talking about TrackMania on this podcast since at least 2009, maybe earlier. Almost as long as Brad talked about Dota 2 which probably started around 1975.

I feel like Batmans control scheme is sublime when it works but sometimes he does things you don't want him to do at all and it's infuriating. A large portion of that control scheme depends on the game correctly interpreting what you want to do and I've had plenty of moments where it didn't do a good job of that.

@jonny_anonymous: Am one of those people. I never felt like the character was doing what I wanted him to do.

I had a couple of those riddler race trophies fail out due to having no idea how to guarantee that I'd stop in exactly that space right when I wanted to. It's the only time I've really ever had issue with any sort of unwanted momentum in character movement.

I'm pretty sure Samurai Shodown V: Special is still very well liked and played competitively in Japan, probably more so than 2 was.

I actually got a boxed copy of Trackmania 1 way back in 2004 at a Walmart. Pretty weird to think about that now.

Played and finished Witcher 3 in the first week of release and sunk 100h. There are some rough edges, but the game was so compelling to me that I did not even care one iota about any of the jankiness. The movement felt a bit awkward in Witcher 2 as well. I played the original Borderlands on PC twice and at the time I didn't even care about all the jankiness. I must have a high tolerance for bulls**t when a game just draws me in.

I'm calling it. Witcher 3 won't be even in top 5 for them.
